PLAY

Location: Tustin, California
Client: City of Tustin
Collaborators: Grant Dinh & Bingshan Chen

This fun project was a way for my son to learn about the public art process, from concept, to presentation, to execution. People from the community come to Tustin Sports Park to play many different sports. The mural design’s boldness was inspired by the eye-catching graphics found on sports fields and uniforms. Against a “field” of colorful stripes that sprint across the length of a dugout wall, various types of sports balls bounce along the track.
